Want to get rid of bees and wasps without cruelly killing them off? Try this essential oil repellent! It just contains distilled water, vinegar and two essential oils that have been shown to deter bees and wasps! Wasps and bees tend to build nests in places we don't want them to ~ like on the deck, patio, and even by the doors of our homes. Deter them from building nests the all natural way! What you'll need:
8 oz sprayer bottle
3 oz vinegar (white or apple cider)
4 oz water (distilled, filtered, or bottled)
4 ml Peppermint essential oil
4 ml Lemongrass essential oil
In an 8 oz. sprayer bottle add vinegar, water and essential oils. Shake well. You can spray existing nests and in areas where you don't want them to start building. This will keep your relaxing areas clear. Spray once every couple of weeks or after rain to keep them away and from building nests.

In addition to using essential oils grow repelling plants!
Take a look and your landscaping and remove flowers from the places you like to hang out and add some green plants into the mix can be a great way to deter wasps and bees. Plants like spearmint, thyme, citronella, and eucalyptus serve as natural deterrents. Grow them in your yard or garden in an area you’d like to enjoy wasp-free. In addition to their ability to chase the insects away, they naturally add beauty.
Note: This is not harmful to wasps and bees. Sources:
